A Night of Dreams

This past weekend the Black Student Union at my school had its annual fashion show. I was a scene director this year for the second time, and this year, my scene was called: The “Nacirema” [Nah-Keyr-Eem-A] Dream, which is "American" spelled backwards. 

Fashion is going backwards and repeating itself, so I spelled American backwards to represent that!

My scene expressed my dream of how I feel fashion has repeated, displaying animal prints, stone washed denim and body jewelry that I hand made!

My creations were inspired by my own personal style, featuring body jewelry that was handmade by me and also pieces that have been revamped by me.
