Inked Up.

So yeah, Yesterday I woke up and had this very RANDOM urge to go get a tattoo. Like, I was itching to go get one lol. I have always wanted a second tattoo, and had been thinking about this one for a while now (and a few others), but I just didn't know when I wanted to get it. People always told me that after your first tat, you're going to want to go get another one soon after.......THAT was a lie, after my first tat I didn't THINK about getting another tat because that sucker hurt like crap! Butttt its been since Black Friday in 2009, when I was 19, since I got my first tatter, and I felt like it was about that time. So what did I get you ask? .....

Ok, This is my New Tat, and it's also a scripture that my family and I recite EVERYDAY, because we say it after we bless our food...everyday. But anywho, it's Psalms 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want". This verse is very special to me because I know that the Lord is my shepherd, because he looks out for me..,over, and over, and over again (good looking out Jesus lol). He his my all, and just like a shepherd watches over his flock, feeds them, and keeps the wolves from the sheep, God does the same with me (that was the "The Lord is my shepherd" part). Now for the "I shall not want", God say's look unto the hills from where your help come (I'm paraphrasing for you bible scholars out there). I know that my help comes from God, and as long as he's my shepherd...I SHALL NOT WANT...for anything.

I got the verse tatted on me in Hebrew... I don't read it, I'm not trying to learn it, I got it because Hebrew is the original language that the bible was written in (Old Testament).

Oh, and it's located on my lower left side.

Now I Just Stunt On My Own..

Ok, so maybe I should update you guys on my hair, andddd my life. Whelp, I finally colored my hair Vivacious Red *does happy dance* for those who know me, know that I have been trying to get this Red color in my hair for THEE longest, and I FINALLY have it!!! Yay me, but the process....let me tell you....if I weren't natural, I would NOT have this color (which is another PLUS for us Naturalistas) but it was BRUTAL to my hair. ONE: I had to bleach my hair, (which no one with permed/relaxed hair can do unless you want a replay of that scene in "What's Love Got to do With It" lol) bottom line permed/relaxed hair+bleach=MAN DOWN/DISASTER to your hair. This bleaching process was.....an experience to say the least, because I am no professional hair stylist either, I only experiment on MY hair, and usually end up lucky. So I was scared that I may have messed up somewhere during the process, but I was all good, and I was actually a BLONDIE for like 20 mins (well a mixture of random blonde's) :) So right after bleaching came the actual coloring process, and THIS was when I really had my fingers crossed. I used a regular box dye "Dark and Lovely" color, and used as directed. In the end I came out with RED hair, and I was HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.

Oh yes, and I recently straightened my curly hair so that I could do a length check (and my hair has def grown since my last trim right before Christmas) and also to trim my ends, because those bad boys were splitting like no other! Here are a few pics :)

I have so much ore to update you guys on, I am still saving up for my Canon Rebel and hopefully I will have it b y my 21st birthday!!! But until then I probably won't have THAT much to blog about since this was a semi photog blog, and I have no "personal" camera for my photos...BUMMER! But I will make it do what it do with what I have. But I'm going to TRY and be more consistent with my post from now on, even if its just a picture that I post or a little thought that I share with you guys, until nest timeeeee.....

Long overdue for a new blog post, buttttt we're not even going to speak on that. Moving along, it has finally gotten somewhat....warm here in the Midwest, which causes for what E.I.U. would like to call "Looseness". I did a story on my roomie, she started taking a class at the sewing shop (finally!) I swear this girl belongs on Project Runway or something, every time I waltz into her room....she's either cutting....ripping...gluing...or even DYING an item of her clothes!!!!

So for those of you that don't know...Eastern Illinois University has this building named...Doundna..in Doundna..there is a sewing shop...in the sewing shop..there are some pretty cool things......

My smokey eye that I did..it was so random..I woke up at likeeee 5 am with the urge to do some makeup...

My bathroom usually looks worse than this when I have my random "makeup" moments..

I said I would do a product review for Sally Hansen's Nail art pens...and I LOVE these things...why are they JUST now being invented????, I don't think I'll ever pay $3 for a nail design ever again. But its just like drawing on your nail, and as soon as you're done drawing on them, slap on a coat of clear polish..let em dry..and you're good to go!
